My children are getting ready to go off to university, my son for his second year at Salford University, my daughter for her first year in… Ulster! We’ll be flying with her across the Irish Sea to Belfast tomorrow, then staying for a few days at our beloved Portballintrae before she starts at the Coleraine campus next week. I’m so proud of both of my children, and being a mum, a little anxious for them both, hoping they have a wonderful and rewarding year.
So today, we will be mostly packing and trying to remember what we have forgotten! I have scheduled some posts though, so if WordPress works as it should, my blog should continue!
Meanwhile… this is where we will be tomorrow!

Will be thinking of all of you

Me too Lois – this packing up a childhood life feels very strange! And there must be so many more like us wondering what will become of us when we drop into this rather vacant hole! 🙂
