The autumn equinox has passed and the weather has turned. Last week, although dull and quite miserable, it was pleasant enough to still wear shorts and sandals. On Saturday night it became quite chilly, and Sunday morning there was autumn in the air. It has rained on and off since then, and some parts of England and Wales have been affected by dreadful floods and my sympathy goes out to everyone who has suffered by this endless rain.
I’m just hoping October will bring us some nice autumn weather, like it did last year.
