A couple of weeks ago we took a trip out and came across these craft workshops at Barrington Court in Somerset.
This particular artist was a wood worker and he made lovely things, using all the little off-cuts, not wasting anything. I approve of that! Hanging outside and with more inside were these delightful wooden hearts, made from the bark and outer layers of different trees so each had a different pattern – each was unique. I wanted to buy one for my husband as an anniversary present but he was with me and I couldn’t distract him to go and look at anything else.
I’ll just have to make another trip to Barrington Court, with my camera of course!

I rather think that could be a line for a song!
