I love calendars, I really love them, and I’m lucky to receive several each year at Christmas time; my husband always makes me one using his own wonderful photos, and he always buys me one of Northern Ireland. We usually also receive one as a gift from someone else, this year my dear cousin Jackie gave me one of her photos.
When I receive my calendar, I only look at the front cover, never peep inside. If it is a commercial calendar then I take care not to look at the back where there are sometimes images of what is shown on each month I hang it up and wait until the first of January and turn to that page; last month my husband’s calendar was of The Dolphin, our local, in Uphill.
