Word of the day… elucidate…

Elucidate… what a good word, it just sounds so balanced, open, somehow. I don’t know why it sprung into my mind… but on the other hand how did nematode come into my head yesterday? Elucidate: to make clear or plain, especially by explanation, to clarify. It comes from Latin,   elucidare which means to enlighten, and there in the middle of the word is luci which is from lucidus which comes from lux… Light!

My dear god-daughter Lucy has a name which means light; most appropriate for her as she lights up any room she enters!
