I had never heard of Trevor Noah but he was on the radio the other night and I did think he was very funny. He is a South African comedian with a white Swiss father and a black mother (Xhosa I think) and he grew up during the apartheid era of his country. As well as being very funny about his childhood his experiences in America and the people he meets who try to pigeon-hole him, he also says some very telling things about race, culture and society. He has travelled to may countries and is at the moment in Australia, no doubt making people think and laugh at his sell-out shows. Last year he presented his one man show “The Racist” at the Edinburgh Fringe and every ticket was sold and he became the star of the Fringe.
See what you think!

Thank you Inga! I hope you enjoy Trevor – he is so talented, and gives a real insight into what it must have been like to grow up in such a culture.
