Are any other bloggers fascinated by their viewing figures? It’s lovely when lots of people read or respond to what I’ve written but when I look at the stats I often wonder if there are certain days which are more popular than others… no reason why there should be as it is a global blog and when I look at something midnight on Monday for me, it might be mid-day on another day for someone in a different time-zones. Weekends maybe quiet because people are out and about doing stuff, but weekends aren’t the same the world over.Working patterns are different, days f religious observation are different, weather is different… But I just keep wondering.
I had a look at my stats for June and July for days rather than dates, and I’m not sure how accurate all my calculations are but this is what I seemed to have discovered:
- My best single day was a Friday,
- My next best days were Thursday, Sunday, Friday in that order
- My worst single day was a Wednesday
- My next worst days were Saturday, Thursday, Friday in that order
- Although Monday doesn’t appear in any of the single best days, overall adding up all the Monday figures, that has the highest views
- In descending order of totals for days Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
Does it mean anything? I’m not sure it does… I guess I had better do it for a bit longer to find out! Does it interest anyone but me? Probably not!
