I visited Iceland in winter and I would love to go back at another time of the year; there are some excellent WordPress blogs about Iceland and I have seen some wonderful photos, but it is not quite the same as visiting a place and getting a real feel of it, not just visually but the sound, the smell, the feel of the wind, or the sun on your face. It really is my ambition to return to Iceland… maybe one day!

Wonderful! I’ve had a desire to go to Iceland for some time. My great grandfather was Norwegian, so on my bucket list is a trip to Scandinavia, especially Noway and Iceland.
I assume the waterfall is frozen, as it’s winter time?

There was still water flowing although it was frozen at the edges – the air was full of icy mist – it was wonderful! I went to Norway when I was sixteen and loved it – I have never been back but it is also on my bucket list too! I definitely recommend Iceland though… fascinating in so many ways!

I used to cycle everywhere when I was young… maybe I should start again, but not sure about hills as I lived Cambridge as a child which was flat, flat, flat!
