I have got to the stage in editing Flipside where I am trying t distance myself from my text to be more objective about it, to try and see it as a new reader might… pretty difficult but one way I try to do this is to download it onto my Kindle and then read it from there… making any corrections as I go, of course!
I have done this with all my books so far, all the one I’ve published, so I know how to do it… I thought I knew how to do it but for some reason it wouldn’t download! Grrr!!! frustration!! After a couple of days of teeth grinding and trying different things I have now got it sorted – our WiFi had changed and I needed to update things… when I say ‘I’ I actually mean my pet techie:
