Our local is the Dolphin and we regularly go there for good beer, a great atmosphere and to meet up with friends. It’s only a few hundred yards from where we live and we have been going there regularly ever since my parents moved next door to it in 1982; even though my parents are no longer with us we still visit and we now live so close to it.
There is another great pub in the village which we don’t visit so often , only because it isn’t as close to us and we don’t have so many friends there. Whenever we do go to the Ship we get great beer and a friendly welcome.
How lucky we re! One small village, two great pubs! Thank you Dolphin and Ship!

Very lucky. I once lived in Tintinhull in Somerset and we had two pubs in one village too: The Crown and Victoria and The Lamb. It’s nice to have the options. Let’s see some interior shots please! I live in Spain and I miss the pub.

You’ve set me a mission – to take some interior shots… hmmmm, can’t go into a pub without drinking beer, it would be rude… Oh dear, does this mean I have to go to the pub again?!!!

In the interests of science, I think I should… oh and The Ship has a range of crisps called Salty Dog which I think might enhance the experience
