- Learn to write anywhere, anytime
- Get a job
- Get a life
- Don’t live in Los Angeles
- Develop a thick skin and just keep going
… and I thought his list could be adapted for any other writing:

- Write for publication – local newspapers, village magazines etc,anything to put your words in front of a reader… or you could write a blog!
