The difference between a good and bad haircut…

The difference between a good and bad haircut is about a week…the time it takes for the worst hacks to disappear… good! I got fed up with my fringe today and attacked it with some craft scissors. Unfortunately I wasn’t really concentrating on what I was doing… so it is rather short and uneven… I suppose Icould have worn a hat… but who would be that bothered at looking at me anyway!!

I mentioned once before Baroness Shirley Williams, Baroness Williams of Crosby who had similar problems to me with wayward hair. As she stood in the ladies room of the House of Lords, she was despairing of her wild locks and someone suggested she should go to a really expensive hair-stylist and treat herself to a really decent haircut. “I’ve just been to Vidal Sassoon’s” she replied ruefully.
