I’ve been trying to learn Irish Gaelic for about five years now…, I have no Gaelic ancestry, no connection with Ireland and to be honest I am finding it very hard… but actually I don’t care! I am in a lovely group with friends I’ve made through Gaelic, the language is beautiful and fascinating… and however much I feel as if I’m going backwards rather than forwards, I keep persevering!
