2000 posts- good heavens!

I’m amazed to find that I have written 2000 posts here!  It’s been tremendous fun and I’ve learnt so much, not just by writing, and not just by the interesting, helpful, funny, useful, kind and nice comments people have made (thank you everyone!!) but by reading other people’s blogs…it has been a great adventure!

The most viewed post, after my home page, is one I wrote about the demise of the wonderful programme, Time Team:

The polarity of this post just shows how wrong Channel 4 were to cancel the show!

I’ve had nearly 55,000 views and nearly 4,500 comments… once again, thank you everyone! It is quite humbling to realise there has been so much interest, and fascinating to see all the different countries where viewers live; most of my visitors come from English-speaking countries, but altogether I have had visitors from 136 different countries, from every continent except Antarctica…
