Ssshhhh! Don’t tell anyone!

 

Here’s a secret recipe I’m sharing… I know I’ve posted a lot about food recently but ’tis the season to be jolly!

 

RORY’S CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Oven temp 170

  • 100g butter/margarine
  • 175g caster sugar
  • 75g dark muscavado or similar brown sugar
  • 125g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g plain flour sifted
  • 2tbsps cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  1.  Gently melt butter, caster sugar, brown sugar, dark choc, syrup
  2. Let cool slightly
  3. Gently and carefully stir eggs into mixture
  4. Fold in flour
  5. Put in lined tin cook 20-25 mins until still gooey but cooked
