A jolly little fellow

I don’t know what this little canal boat was used for… maybe it was just to whiz up and down the canals ferrying people back and forth rather than big cargoes of iron ore, cola or whatever else canal boats carried. Here it is now, seemingly abandoned in still water, weeds growing all around it, but in quite good condition still. Is it just resting over winter? Will it be out and about when the weather improves and tourists are back visiting the canal? Such a jolly little fellow!
