      I was once given one but I think I must have cooked it the wrong way because t just went slushy and tasteless! We have an allotment now, so when the weather improves I want to try growing different things, so thanks for mentioning it… sounds like fun and this time I’ll try and cook it better! Squashes are becoming really popular over here now.

    The way we make spaghetti squash is to cut it in half lengthwise and scoop the seeds out. Next stuff each half with precooked hamburger and rice, spice to taste and some pasta sauce.Bake both halves for about an hour and a half and lastly top with cheese, we use mozzarella and broil till bubbly and a little brown. We serve with mashed potatoes. I love the way it is stringy like spaghetti and it is definitely one of our favorites. Give it a go Lois.

      That sounds really nice… I will pass it to my husband because he is a great fan of meat and pasta sauce – he’s also a great coo! What a brilliant idea though! I’m sure we’ll enjoy it!
