I’ve mentioned before about how i sometimes see a house or a building, and just know this is going to be the setting for one of my novels… and as i wrote recently about a person I saw who will one day be a character, sometimes it can be years before the right situation arises which needs the house.
I saw this house in North Walsham in Norfolk; it must originally have been two houses as there are two doors, but now it seems to be one. There is a curious space above the door which is in the middle of my featured image, on the right of the house. It’s as if there is a nose missing from a face… there seems a curious blank, it doesn’t look balanced in an otherwise balanced building. Was there a window which has been bricked up and so well plastered over that not even a shadow is visible? Could be!
