Driving with very loud music

I’m sure there is some “scientist” somewhere who will tell you that driving with very loud music is dangerous… maybe it deafens you, maybe it makes you drive too quickly which might be dangerous, maybe it takes your mind off driving… which also might be dangerous… Maybe the scientists who might say such things don’t like loud music… well I do! I like loud music when I go to gigs, and I confess I like loud music when I am driving, if I am alone in the car. I don’t think I have it loud enough to deafen me, and I am too aware of not speeding to drive too quickly, and if I am alone when I’m driving loud music helps keep me alert.

There is lots of music which I like which isn’t loud driving music, lots of music I really love which isn’t loud driving music, but my recently discovered favourite band is great for loud driving music.
