We have had such a hectic couple of weeks and the miles we have travelled! We had a wonderful holiday in the Netherlands, and while there our friends kindly took us to visit different places including the very moving museum at Overloon, and an interesting bell and clock museum at near Peel.
We returned home and the following day I flew to Northern Ireland; daughter finishing her first two years at Uni and as she is going to spend next year in the USA she needed to bring all her stuff home. We squeezed it all into her little car, drove from Port Stewart to Belfast, caught the ferry to Birkenhead and then drove back to the south-west. I had a day off, apart from teaching my creative writing group, but the following ay we had a wonderful trip to Salisbury and the Roche centre sculpture park. Home again, pub quiz and the very next day we drove up to Manchester, packed my son’s three years of University life stuff into the car (oh what a squash!) and drove all the way home again…
Today we aren’t going anywhere!
