I couldn’t resist taking a picture of this billboard… How exciting life must be, now that the roundabout has finally actually opened! I know you’re desperate to know where it is, well, I can reveal that it is on the A39 between Bridgwater and Cannington, and it was officially opened this week two weeks ago!
It reminded me of a song by the Idle Race, ‘Skeleton on a Roundabout’; in case you don’t know or can’t remember, Idle Race were a Brit band from Birmingham who had quite a following in the late 60’s and 70’s, but not as much success as you might imagine. Among the line up was Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne at one point.
