I saw this in Bristol as we were walking away from Temple Meads Station. It just caught my eye and I though for a moment it was a rocking horse, and then because we were near the station, designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1841 I thought maybe it was to do with either him or the station or the railway.
Maybe there is a plaque which would have told me what it was or what it represents or what it was called or who made it… but we were on our way into the city so we didn’t stop. So I don’t know what the sculpture represents – if it does represent anything and isn’t an abstract, but I liked the colour, I liked the geometry of the design and that it didn’t quite match itself, the outer blue circle not being complete and set at an angle…
Here is some information about the remarkable station:

Hi Lois, I will be in Bristol during September. If I’m near Temple Meads I will take a look, and maybe take my own photo 🙂
