Fun!

I thought this was rather fun! We were strolling around Burnham-on-Sea and came across these rather prettily decorated bollards. On the other side of the pavement was a fabric and craft shop, and to advertise their presence they had made little patchwork covers outside. I think the shop is called Material Needs, but I didn’t actually look at it, I was so captivated by the bollards and their jackets.

Material Needs sells an amazing variety of craft and sewing products; how my mum would have loved it! She was a great needlewoman and so creative and imaginative.  As well as wool, cottons for crochet, cross-stitch, tapestry and embroidery, they have stuff for rug making, card making, beadwork, fabrics for clothes, patchwork, cushions etc., and lots of other things you might need or want if you were doing other craftwork. They also have haberdashery (what a lovely word!) ribbons, buttons and no doubt bows as well!
