No, it’s not cute, it’s a fire hydrant!! Why do we always want to anthropomorphise inanimate objects? Why does my daughter’s car have a name by which we always address and refer to him – ‘him’, there you go! He is an it – I mean it is an it! Yesterday we went to Taunton, Luigi and me, no ‘we’ didn’t, I went in the car which is referred to as Luigi!

I drive a Honda and I call her Heidi and it seems to fit. Only thing is that when it’s snowing and freezing outside I feel sorry for poor old Heidi even tho with a name like that she should be used to it. My first several cars I called Betsy.

Ours is a Zafira called Zafi… my family’s first ever car was an A35 called Aussie!
