I was so excited to receive, Dýrð í dauðaþögn, ‘In the silence’ through the post. There are three fabulous CDs in the set, by Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson, who I recently saw live in Bristol. The first CD is in Icelandic, the second is in English and the third is full of bonus tracks; his style is described as melodic folk… and it is certainly very melodic!
Ásgeir is so talented, he was born in Iceland in 1992 so he is only twenty-two years old… it makes you wonder what more will come from him, how many more delights!
