Old and older, or not so old and oldish

I’ve taken a few photos of old things juxtaposed against modern… here we have an old crane beside an old ship… except the ship isn’t as old as the crane… it is a 1997 replica of the Matthew, in which John Cabot sailed to Newfoundland, five hundred years ago. The crane, one of four was built in 1951 by Stothert and Pitt, and you can see them at the Floating Harbour in Bristol.
