I am very excited as I have just signed up for a cookery course! One of my favourite cuisines is Turkish food, although I have never been lucky enough to visit Turkey I have visited quite a few Turkish restaurants. I’ve cooked many of her recipes already – and they are always a success, they always work, and best of all they are always delicious. Ozlem runs cookery classes but I’ve never been able to attend any… one day, perhaps! Fortunately she has started an on-line cookery course where not only will I learn about preparing yummy food, but I’ll also find out more about Turkish cooking and culture.
Look at some of the lessons: Seasonality, Culinary legacy of the Ottoman Empire, Land of diversity: regional specialities, Serving traditions and A typical Turkish breakfast! That’s just a sample – aren’t you tempted? There are twelve ‘chapters’ as well as an introduction and some closing thoughts… I can’t wait to get started… in fact I think I will go and start right now!
