I’m looking at old photos to try and find the right image for my next novel… The only difficulty with this particular photo ( – and I’ve not messed about with it at all, it has just been scanned, the blurring etc is on the original) the woman in my novel is blond and willowy – although the subject of this photo is slim, she isn’t quite right… However, it might not matter because people did and do change their hair colour. The slight awkwardness, and nervous smile is right, one hand is clenched too… it does all fit with the character!
