No I’m not in it but I’m watching it on TV, it and the Cambridge and Oxford boat race are my favourite sporting events. I can’t run – well, I guess I can run to catch a bus and over very short distances, but I just cannot run. Even when I was a swimmer and exceptionally fit, swimming 40+ miles a week, cycling 100+ miles a week, I still couldn’t run… training runs were a nightmare, I’d always come last!
Sometimes I dream of running – not fleeing something, but running through woodland or up hilly pastures, and in my dreams I love it, and am puzzled why I never realised I could do it! Oh well… I shall just watch and enjoy the London marathon each year! Nearly 40,000 people running this year, over 40% are women… and I shall cheer them all on!

The dream of running is said to be your subconscious telling you that your fleeing from something and need to face the problem.
Sometime I can run but that’s getting less and less due to my knees.

But my running dreams are always lovely, running to something nice! Knees are a terrible problem, so many friends have naughty knees
