Sometimes you just see something and it has an effect which can’t really be explained. Sometimes it is a perfectly normal and ordinary thing which fir some reason has an unusual or unexpected yet inexplicable significance. Sometimes it is something alien which somehow has a resonance or a feeling of meaning which is also inexplicable. We were at the Afrika Museum near Nijmegen and there were a lot of unfamiliar things, and things which were strange to us. Many were incomprehensible because we had no understanding of the people of the culture which produced them.
However, there were also other things which although I didn’t understand them, or even know what they were, seemed to have some meaning… although I struggle to explain what that meaning was.
I don’t know what these are or what they mean… but they mean something… and somehow mean something to me
