NaNo day 17

Day 17… and am I flagging? Am I becoming despondent? I have my small targets and focus points to get me over teh bump!

Check the  story-lines about the history of the family who Thomas is investigating  – make sure there isn’t too much space between episodes (not necessarily writing a present and past episode alternately which can become a bit irritating and make chapters unbalanced by being too long or too short) If necessary I can write more of the family back-stories and slot them in as I go along – writing doesn’t need to be linear and in order, I can play about with how I write. I must, however, keep in mind the reader and if there are jumps in time between scenes, it must be perfectly apparent, in a subtle but clear way.
