I saw Gene Pitney years ago in a bar in our town that I sneaked into underage. He was great but what impressed me most was the sound of his guitarist playing thru a Leslie organ amp with revolving cones. It’s a fantastic effect that once heard you’ll never forget. Thanks for reminding me!

I loved Gene, so tragic he died young (-ish) – on tour in England as well… I’ll tell my husband about the revolving cones! He’ll be fascinated!
