This is rather a delicious dish for two – it’s so delicious that my husband who isn’t keen on cabbage or fish, loved it!
- ½ a savoy cabbage
- 1 tin of cannellini beans and their water
- tarragon
- finely chopped onion and crushed garlic
- 1 carton of passata
- 2 inches of spicy chorizo, quite finely chopped (or in bigger chunks if you prefer)
- 400 g cod loin
- fry off the onion and garlic in butter or oil (your preference)
- add chorizo
- add remaining ingredients – except the cabbage and cod
- when cooked add cabbage, stir in, then add cod
- cover and cook on medium heat for 5-8 minutes
It really is as simple as that. When I was served it there was no bread, but I thought a nice crunchy stick would have been perfect for mopping up all the lovely sauce.
