She might be in real danger!

I decided that I ought to promote my books more. I write about them here on my blog and when I’m in the process of writing them – but it’s mainly about the actual writing. Then I write about them when they are published – but it’s really just an extended blurb, and I mention them from time to time just in passing. I think I should do more than just mention them!

I’ve written about the first novel I self-published, ‘Farholm’, an imagined island seven miles from the mainland. Two accidental deaths which may not be quite as accidental as they seem, a young woman who went missing after getting off the ferry to the island, and two people who want to find the truth about separate events which almost ruined their lives. Yesterday I mentioned the second book I published , the only one set in a real location, the Pennine town of Oldham. Despite ‘Flipside’ starting with a ‘love at first sight’ moment, it is a mystery about the brutal murders of several, attacked and butchered at random.

My third novel has a title which lets you know what it’s about – ‘The Stalking of Rosa Czekov’. Tyche Kane, Rosa’s distant cousin is determined to find out who was stalking Rosa, a stalker who drove Rosa to tun away – catching a train which was involved in a horrific accident. Tyche meets Rosa’s widower Luka and though him makes contact with their friends. She seems to be the only person who truly believes that Rosa was stalked… and then she begins to realise that maybe someone is watching and following her too. This book is longer, and more complex as Tyche becomes involves with the people she is “investigating”; at first she is almost arrogantly determined but gradually she realises that she might be in real danger.
