It’s so strange how some things stick in your memory so vividly, and other things which are much more important just vanish. Typical high street

This is vry typical of British high streets now, it’s the recession, it’s the out of town supermarkets and shopping malls, it’s the cheap-jack culture, it’s depressing. One row of shops in a small seaside town, teashop, building society/financial services, charity shop, Indian restaurant, cheap goods shop, no doubt all scraping by ‘in the current financial climate.’
