‘The First Cut…’

I wrote about this song, ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’ a little while ago; I didn’t realise that Gene Pitney recorded it – I actually saw him live, many years ago and he was sensational. I don’t however remember what he sang!.

Gene Pitney certainly had ‘something’. I was lucky enough to see him live, many years ago; he not only had a great voice, he had great stage presence.
