I was so lucky with the school I attended in Cambridge as a child; Milton Road was the school my dad Donald and his brother and sister, Sidney and Joan attended. My cousin Jackie went there, and my sister and I did too.
We had a happy schooling, we had teachers who were firs class who set us all on the road to great things and happy lives. Thank you Milton Road School! You are no more because crass councillors sold you to developers who pulled you down.

I’m so pleased to see this pictures, it brings back so many happy memories from my year in Cambridge. I used to live in Silverwood Close and my familyfriends had an instant print on Milton Road. I revisited Cambridge a couple of months ago, what a change in 30 years!

Were you a student in Cambridge? I was born and brought up there as you may have guessed and I love going back to visit. I’m glad you had so many happy memories!
Cambridge was twinned with Heidelberg and my sister and I went there on a wonderful exchange visit with the swimming club!
