Yes, four hundred, this is my four hundredth post!
I can hardly believe it – I have so enjoyed blogging, fa more than I ever anticipated, and it’s strangely addictive.
Why is it so good? I suppose the obvious thing is that I have to write every day (well, I don’t have to, I just feel I have to) and as a writer it is important practice of my craft. One of the things I am bad at as a writer is being aware of my audience and blogging is a great way of bringing the reader to the front of my mind.
I have ‘met’ some lovely people here, I have read some incredible blogs, seen some amazing photos, wonderful art, craft and painted art… it has enriched my life far more than I could ever have imagined.
So this is a big hug and a thank you to everyone who has been kind enough to read me, and kind enough to comment!

No I didn’t this year – I was so tempted but I have to get my next book published and I have other stuff happening this month… I think I found out about it too late. However, this means I’m all prepared for next year! Are you doing it?
