A week today!!

A week today I will be publishing my next novel, Night Vision. I first wrote it several years ago and tried in vain to find a publisher or agent; I was a teacher and had no connections or experience in the publishing world. The story was triggered by several things, a strange tree, a casual comment from my husband about a friend… but it had a long germination until it was written.

Last year I published my first novel as an e-book on Amazon for Kindle; I was surprised and delighted at the positive reception Farholm received, and went on to publish two more novels which had been lying dormant for several years. Like Farholm, The Stalking of Rosa Czekov and Loving Judah needed extensive editing and work to get them ready for publication as I had no editor, proof-reader or experienced support, only the loving help of my husband and friends!

Now, after several months of editing, pruning, paring and reducing, Night Vision is almost ready; it is a mystery, a puzzle, an intrigue and I hope you will enjoy it!

Night Vision will be available to download on your Kindle on Thursday 28th February, 2013!

It is a great deal of work indeed to get a book ready for publication. And I hope that the Manuscript Assessment Criteria available on my blog has been of good use to you.

All the best and may your book find plenty of fans and readers all over the world and in the most unlikely places!

Lois, I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my most recent and special post at http://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/facing-the-noise-music-grey-barriers-and-green-frontiers-of-sound-society-and-environment/.

    Thank you in anticipation!
