The carpet cleaners are coming….

We are having our downstairs carpets cleaned tomorrow… “Don’t worry” said the lady when I booked it. “Our guys will shift all your furniture…”

Don’t worry? Don’t worry? Our house is stuffed to the gills with bookshelves almost collapsing under the thousands of books they bear, CD cases almost literally groaning with the weight of music they carry, drawers and shelves overflowing with photos, pieces of paper, precious items, bills, receipts… you get the picture – our house is a mess!

Let’s think about the dining room, dining table, six chairs, sideboard… OK. Three book cases, two CD cases (floor to ceiling) two guitars, a cajon, a rabbit cage (with Solo the rabbit), a settee, a small armchair… I mean is that reasonable? Oh yes and various boards with various paintings pinned to them in various stages of completion…

And there is the sitting room too…

I am taking refuge in my blog but after a cup of tea I must return to the fray!
