Love is amazing!

As you walk around anywhere, it is wonderful to see so many couples who are obviously happy together and love each other, wandering along, hand in hand, or arm in arm, or catching each other’s eye and exchanging a knowing look across a room, across a street.

Love comes when you least expect it, and sometimes from the most  unexpected quarter… I had known my husband for twelve years before he asked me out, and had never had any romantic inclinations towards him… in fact it was only because I was thinking of something else and said yes by mistake that I agreed to go out with him, and that was almost exactly twenty-three years ago to the day!

Love which comes when you are older is perhaps the sweetest love, because it is unexpected, because it is a more tolerant love, and probably a love which is a lot more fun without the angst of youth! I’m glad I loved when I was young, but even more glad that it didn’t last because I found my true love when I was older!
