Good heavens, I’ve posted 1500 blogs!

When I started writing this blog in March 2012 there was one underlying purpose, to promote my e-books which I self-publish on Kindle. I don’t have an editor or publishing house, or anyone behind me to help so I have to do it myself, and I thought writing a blog would be a fun way of expanding my audience. A second reason was that I thought it would be a challenge to write every day, to a real audience, not just me typing away at home and saving my work on the computer… but to have real people reading what I write (I hope!)

There have been several unexpected and really lovely things which have come from writing this; firstly I have ‘met’ some really interesting, kind, helpful, and downright stimulating people! I have had some really helpful criticism and  comments as well as some kindly praise for what I’ve written. I have also read some wonderful blogs, seen some amazing photographs. and had ‘conversations’ with some really interesting people.

Secondly, the writing, the actual writing has become important to me; I now feel I can describe myself as a writer, I have published four e-books, I have published three actual children’s books, and I write every day, every single day and in a way It has become the process as well as a desire for a dialogue with an audience which is important.

Thank you, thank you to everyone who has read my posts, and thank you to everyone who has commented, I really appreciate it!
