For some reason the word logo came into my mind and I wondered what I would have if I needed a logo, and I decided almost instantly that it should a carousel horse; as a child when the fair came to Cambridge, Jollity Farm was my favourite; as I’ve become older and more timid of fast rides, Jollity Farm is still my favourite – although I’m not sure it’s still called that!
A logo is a mark or symbol representing a company or institution; the word actually means ‘word’ – it comes from the Greek logos. So if I had a mark or a symbol to represent me, what better than a carousel horse!
