Henna is a natural dye which comes from, would you believe it… the henna tree! It is used to colour hair, nails and to make patterns on skin which unlike tattoos are only temporary!
We are lucky enough to have people from all over the world in our English conversation group where i teach once a week as a volunteer. last week Kohinor came with some wonderful henna patterns on her hands and when we admired them she said she would be pleased to do some on our hands and arms… and this week she arrived with the henna in what looked like a miniature icing bag. She piped the dark paste onto our skins in whatever patterns we wanted, flowers, fish, birds, peacocks, abstract designs… all just by eye with no reference. She did it quickly and assuredly… we were all so impressed!
On arms or hands…
Leaves and flowers…

This is so cool! Mom/dad went to a Moroccan restaurant one time and they had someone coming table to table doing this. It was cool and last for some time. Mommy loved it! XOXO – Bacon

It is so lovely… and it isn’t permanent so you can have another of a different design!
