I’ve just found out that Easyjet are flying to Reykjavik from Bristol, our nearest airport…. I like flying with Easyjet, they’ve always been brilliant for us… I want to go back to Iceland…. Maybe if we save our pennies we could go next year some time….
I went there last year and had a wonderful time and would love to visit again. Since I was there I’ve been reading a lot about it, novels, and other material too, and the more I read, the more I want to go back! While I was there, which was only for quite a short time, we did some of the usual sights, our leader planned it himself and organised it, but if we went back again we would have to go on scheduled trips and tours. I would like to go up to the north-west, and also to Þingvellir which we didn’t get to last time… I’m thinking this is probably just a dream, but it is becoming more of a reality!

I will…. I went in February last time so the light was rather strange… I guess it would be cheaper to go at a similar time, out of season. It will still be expensive though, but I feel an almost magnetic pull to return!
