WRITER
I have just launched my new web-site! as a self-publishing author I have to do all I can myself to promote and publicise my novels so I have created a web-site! it has been great doing this blog, and I shall continue it every day, just as before… but I want to try and reach more people who might be interested in my books, I have launched my new site.
I would be very grateful to anyone who would have a look at it and give me feed-back, any comments would be gratefully received!

Lois, I think it looks very stylish. Well done for getting it going. There were a couple of things that struck me. Firstly the photos that are scrolling through at the top. It seems that you are missing out on a chance to further promote your books. Could you crop them so that they include the title of the novels? Also , I know from my Etsy shop that people love to see the author/artist at work. Would it be possible to add in some photos of your work space or you at the computer?
When I tried to look at the photos in the gallery it said that my browser wouldn’t support it. I thought that was odd — and I was disappointed, as they look like an interesting collection.
Lastly, in your selection about the books, can you link them directly to Amozon? I can link photos of my art work that I put onto the blog directly to the item in my Etsy shop. Would you be able to put in a link from the title of each one to their Amazon listing? It would be great to allow customers to do that, and get them there as seemlessly as possible.
BTW, are you involved with indie author groups and forums? If you would like I can find out about one that a WordPress blogging friend is active with. It is often hard to be able to shout above the noise!

I think I can do the direct links to Amazon… I need to play about with it a little!
