Following on from my post about pub names, seeing this lichen-clad lion, I thought the Green Lion would be a great name for a pub… I can only find one listed, in Rainham in Essex, and another one in Malmö in Sweden…

How about naming a pub ” The Pink Elephant “. I’ve seen a few of them after having one too many pints.

Tee-hee! I suppose you were too young when you left Manchester, but there were several pubs around called The Old House At Home, which I always thought was rather nice!
