This delicious lunch – of which I couldn’t resist taking a bite before I took the photo, was served to us today in Roscoff’s Café in Bath. If you ever visit Bath, then I insist you go there! You will receive a warm, jovial and friendly welcome, and prompt attention – but not so you feel harried or hurried, only so you can order a much needed drink while you peruse the menu. The menu is so tempting – everything looks yum – and what we saw on other people’s plates looked lovely. There is a special board with interesting items, which today included arancini (rice balls) and skewered chicken, and there is a cabinet full of home-made cakes and pastries.
I had a very simple caprese salad, fresh and lovely, my daughter had a panini stuffed full of chicken and tomato and home-made pesto (you could taste it was home-made) and super coffee. All the while there was the banter of Rosario who is the captain of the crew, and his staff and the customers. A lovely atmosphere, wonderful food, fun… we can’t wait to go back to Bath and go again, and next time we’ll take the rest of the family!
Thank you Rosario!

I’ll never look at my gruel the same way again, sigh!
