Our freezer is unfreezing… yes the dreaded thing has happened… we have melt down in the place which should be most unmelted. We are not happy. We aren’t happy at all but I think we saw it in time and things were just beginning to defrost, so everything out, everything cooked, everything awaiting eating or awaiting chilling…. meanwhile we are keeping an eye on the wretched freezer, hoping it might just be a blip, hoping that all will be back to normal soon…
If not we are going to be eating an awful lot of stuff over the next few days!

Yikes! A broken freezer is the worst.

Luckily its only quite a small freezer… but even so, we have a lot of things which can’t refreeze… 😦

I tend to make a large batch of whatever I’m cooking, so a freezer is a must for me.l

Some cousins had visited bringing us nice things which I’d put in the freezer… I guess we’ll be eating them sooner than we expected!

Fridges and freezers have to breathe. Clean and dust the evaporator at the back and make sure it has enough room around it. Also make sure that the door or lid is closing properly all the way. Lastly is there power to the unit? Good luck.

Thank you… I don’t suppose you’d like a roast pork sandwich, or a nice chicken leg, or some sausages? I also have some meatballs and a lot of home-grown fruit… The freezer man is coming on Thursday…

No thanks. Were having deep fried breaded zucchini strips and chicked fingers again tonight. We had a bumper crop of zucchinis and can’t freeze anymore. Made some of my magic zucchini juice as well.
