We’ve had a lovely drift from summer to autumn… blue skies, warm days, pleasant but getting cooler evenings…
Today I woke up and it was darker than it should have been… what? Have I overslept? No, no I haven’t, it’s darker because there’s no sun, it’s grey outside, and what is more it’s raining! I have the window open here beside me to catch the pleasant breezes and hear the various outside noises while I’m writing… but what, a howling gale is whistling through and I can hear the sound of rain outside.
I think this is the signal to think about (only think about) putting my shorts away… it will be a while though until I have to put my sandels in the cupboard!

It is cold also : will have to enjoy buying a few winter bits for my wardrobe!! But I have soooo enjoyed my shorts and no socks! xxx
